Grandeur Staircase Chandeliers

Provide the void width and length, ceiling-to-floor height, stair layout and the intended lowest point. Photographs from each landing help assess sightlines and safe circulation.

Available adjustments vary by design. Ask about the exact model and required drop before ordering; the ceiling support, wiring and installation method need project-specific confirmation.

Compare the widest part of the fitting with the clear opening. Allow for handrails and circulation, and review the view from the top landing as well as the entrance.

Mark the centreline and lowest point on a section drawing. Check the views from each landing and have the installer confirm clearances around every route.

Confirm the exact fitting weight, canopy and fixing arrangement. A suitably qualified professional should assess the ceiling support and agree access for lifting and installation.

Agree a safe access method before installation. Ask how to reach the lamps, driver and other serviceable parts at the proposed mounting height.

Check whether the fitting gives useful light to the treads and landings. Plan separate circulation lighting where the chandelier mainly lights the void.
