Lifetime Warranty & Satisfaction Guarantee
Updated 10 September 2026. This page sets out the commercial guarantees offered by VORELLI LIGHTING LTD for applicable purchases from its UK business. The lifetime definition below applies to new orders only where this guarantee is identified and supplied before purchase. It does not reduce any more favourable warranty already promised. Your statutory and other contractual rights remain.
Lifetime Warranty
Who provides it
The guarantor is VORELLI LIGHTING LTD, trading as VORELLI®, company number 14267449. Email sales@vorelli.co.uk, call 0800 888 6112, or write to Unit 3, Maxwell Road, Middlesbrough, TS3 8TE, United Kingdom. You may request a copy of the guarantee applicable to your order in a form you can keep.
Products, beneficiary, duration and territory
For VORELLI-branded lighting expressly supplied with this Lifetime Warranty for delivery and use in the United Kingdom, the guarantee covers manufacturing defects in the metalwork structure, fixed internal wiring, lampholders, LED drivers and other non-consumable functional components supplied as part of the product, where applicable.
Cover begins on delivery and lasts for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. If a trade purchaser buys for a disclosed project and the accepted order names the first end client as the warranty beneficiary, that named client holds the benefit for as long as it owns the product. Otherwise, the contracting purchaser holds the benefit. The guarantee does not transfer automatically to a later owner or create a new lifetime when a covered part or product is replaced. “Lifetime” therefore describes this ownership period; it is not a promise that every component is incapable of wear or has an unlimited operating life.
The guarantee covers residential use and commercial use that is suitable for the product and any purpose, environment and operating conditions disclosed and agreed before purchase. Products used outside the United Kingdom, partner-brand products, furniture, accessories and products sold with a different express guarantee have the provider, territory, scope and duration stated in the accepted order. VORELLI remains responsible for its obligations as seller.
What is and is not covered
The guarantee covers a manufacturing defect that causes a covered component to fail under the agreed conditions of use. LED bulbs, replaceable LED strips, batteries and other consumable light sources or consumable parts are excluded from this additional Lifetime Warranty. That exclusion does not remove legal rights if a consumable was faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming when supplied.
The guarantee does not cover damage actually caused by misuse, impact or accidental damage, unauthorised modification, inappropriate cleaning, incompatible external controls or power supply, incorrect third-party installation, failure to follow relevant safety or maintenance instructions, or exposure outside the agreed product rating. We do not refuse a claim merely because an unrelated alteration or installation occurred. We remain responsible where our goods, advice or instructions caused the problem.
Normal wear, gradual finish or patina changes, and natural variations consistent with the agreed description are not manufacturing defects. Safety defects, materially incorrect goods and premature component failures are assessed on their facts and are not dismissed merely by describing them as wear or natural variation.
Making a claim and available remedy
Contact us with the order reference or other reasonable evidence of purchase, a description of the problem and photographs if safe to obtain. We may reasonably request relevant installation or maintenance information, or arrange a technical assessment. Do not carry out unsafe tests or continue using an item that may be unsafe. Product registration, original packaging and the original paper receipt are not mandatory where the purchase can be evidenced another reasonable way.
For a valid claim, we will choose an appropriate repair, replacement component or equivalent replacement product, acting reasonably and taking account of cost, safety, availability and inconvenience. We do not charge for the covered item or necessary standard transport within the United Kingdom. If a matching part is unavailable, we will discuss a technically suitable equivalent and will not impose a materially different appearance or specification without agreement. If an appropriate repair or replacement cannot be supplied, we will agree an appropriate alternative remedy without limiting any statutory entitlement.
This additional guarantee does not automatically include routine installation, specialist access or lifting, removal, reinstallation, decorating, project delay or other consequential project costs. We assess those costs where the law or the accepted contract makes VORELLI responsible. Contact us before incurring remedial costs where practicable so that we can investigate and agree a proportionate solution; urgent reasonable safety measures need not wait.
We will explain the proposed remedy and provide a realistic timetable. A discontinued part or changed supplier does not automatically end a valid claim. Replacement under this guarantee does not remove any independently applicable legal right.
30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
For new consumer purchases of standard goods: notify us within 30 calendar days after delivery and return the goods within 14 days after that notice. This additional change-of-mind guarantee covers standard stock and catalogue goods, including catalogue goods manufactured after ordering. Where one order arrives in separate deliveries, we allow the period from the final delivery, including the weekend or holiday allowance applied in our return rules.
For a return relying only on this additional guarantee, the goods must be unused, uninstalled, complete, undamaged and resaleable, with their protective packaging or suitable equivalent. You pay the direct return cost disclosed before purchase. We refund the eligible goods' price without a restocking fee within 14 days of receipt. Outward delivery and separately supplied services are not refundable under this additional guarantee alone.
This additional guarantee does not cover genuinely bespoke or personalised goods, business purchases or separately performed services unless expressly agreed before purchase. Made-to-order manufacture alone does not make a standard catalogue product bespoke. Business and genuine bespoke change-of-mind requests are considered under the written settlement process in our Returns & Cancellation Policy.
Earlier orders: any more favourable binding satisfaction guarantee or warranty supplied with your order remains applicable. These definitions, conditions and exclusions are not imposed retrospectively.
Statutory Rights Are Additional
Neither this Lifetime Warranty nor the voluntary satisfaction guarantee replaces legal rights. Consumers may have a statutory change-of-mind cancellation right, normally notified within 14 days after receipt for eligible distance purchases, and separate remedies for faulty or non-conforming goods. Statutory rights may continue after a commercial warranty period and apply to genuine bespoke goods where they do not conform.
The unused, uninstalled and resaleable conditions above apply only to the additional satisfaction guarantee, not as blanket conditions on statutory claims. A request to report visible damage promptly, ideally within 48 hours, is not an automatic legal cut-off. Normal installation, a delivery signature or missing original packaging does not automatically remove rights.
For statutory repair, replacement or rejection, required costs and refunds follow the law. Reasonable removal, reinstallation or other recoverable costs are assessed on their facts. See our Returns & Cancellation Policy for the full procedure and refund deadlines.
